To start using RuffRuff Order Bonus, enable the app embed, create a campaign, and activate the campaign in that order. This assumes the app is already installed from the Shopify App Store.
The theme app embed is required to add gifts to the cart and display widgets, product messages, and badges. Automatically applied discounts still apply at checkout when the app embed is disabled.
(1) Open the theme editor from the setup guide
In Shopify admin, go to Apps and open "RuffRuff Order Bonus." In the setup guide under "Enable app embed in your live theme," select "Enable app."
(2) Save the app embed
In "App embeds" in the theme editor, enable "RuffRuff Order Bonus," then select "Save."
Create a discount or gift campaign for the promotion you want to run. See the corresponding initial setup for detailed fields.
When status is "Active", the campaign applies based on the set dates and conditions.
Prerequisite: A paid plan is required to activate campaigns. Before upgrading, campaigns are saved as Draft.
Check: Confirm that the app embed is enabled and the campaign status is "Active." Verify on the online store that the discount or gift works as intended.
