There are 3 types of discounts available.
Type | Target | Main use cases & settings |

Order discount | The overall order amount | E.g., "$5 off orders over $50." Maximum discount amount can be set. |
Product discount | Specific products or collections | Target products, application range, maximum discount amount, and discount distribution can be configured in detail. |
Shipping discount | Shipping fee | E.g., "Free shipping on orders over $100." Can be conditioned on delivery group subtotal or quantity. |
The discount value can be specified as either a percentage (%) or a fixed amount.
